Neural computing of slurry erosion of Al2O3-13TiO2 thermal spray HVOF coating for mining pump

The purpose of this research was to investigate the cause a slurry erosion failure in an Al2O3-13TiO2 high-velocity oxygen-fuel coating for SS316L steel. Sand particles served as erodent investigation wear and erosion. SS HVOF shown be significantly affected by speed particles, concentration (wt%), exposure period. All characteristics, excluding impingement angle, contribute faster on parent material, both bare coated AISI 316 L. Coatings were used slow down pace at which source material deteriorated. As whole, enhanced L’s resistance 13.73%.
